Yoga has been a part of my life since 1997, throughout the years I have studied various lineages from Ashtanga to Jivamukti to Iyengar to Yin and with teachers across three continents. Yoga is an extremely personal journey that provides the space to observe our habits, understand how well they are serving us and then make authentic choices about our present and future.
Should you try yoga?
Not flexible? Not to worry! You don’t have to touch your toes, stand on your hands or look great in spandex to practice (although a regular practice may produce those effects). Step on your mat often enough and yoga will do more than transform your body, it will change the way you see the world. Over the last two decades, asana, pranayama and mediation have helped me through thick and thin, uplifting me when I experienced loss, empowering me when I was lost and calming me on the morning of my wedding. Yoga has literally transformed the way I show up in the world and practicing regularly helps me to be and stay at my best. Teaching is my offering of these amazing gifts to my students. I can’t wait to share yoga with you!
